Save the Date for the 6th Annual Journey For Hope Walk and Picnic!

The path to healing can be a long one for sexual assault survivors. Every journey is different and important. The Journey For Hope Walk is a walk of recognition, support, and solidarity. Survivors, their loved ones, advocates, and community members are welcome to attend.

The event will be held on April 1st at the Choccolocco Park in Oxford. Walking will begin at 9:00 and since each journey is different, will end when each person is individually ready for it to conclude.

This year’s picnic will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and has been generously provided by the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Information about this year’s shirts will be coming soon.

Walkers may bring their own signs or carry one of ours.

This is a family friendly event. The Choccolocco Park has a gated playground area for children and there are also bathrooms located near the playground area.
