Apply to serve on the 2nd Chance Board of Directors. The Board of Directors drives the organizational direction of 2nd Chance. Applications from survivors of domestic and sexual violence, people of color, members of the LBGTIQIA+ community, elders, young adults, men and women living in Calhoun, Cleburne, Etowah, and Talladega Counties.
Volunteer to do gift wrapping at the Quintard Mall during the the two weeks before Christmas. Gift Wrap is a huge fundraiser that requires hundreds of volunteers. You can also spread holiday cheer through the
Adopt-a-Family project that helps provide Christmas presents for a program participant and their family!
Invite – Would your local community group, school, business, club, church be interested in a presentation from 2nd Chance? We’d love to be invited! Our community programs can be tailored to fit any audience and can be hugely helpful in raising awareness about domestic and sexual violence in Northeast Alabama and beyond.
